Boudoir pics

So I'm getting married in march and I was thinking about doing boudior pics for my FH and I wanted to know if anyone has done them and what you guys think of this idea?

    I just did mine on Friday at Flash Photography in Oldtown! The gals there were great and the proofs that I saw were amazing- couldn't even believe they were of me! I am super excited to give FI the album before our wedding at the end of the month!! HTH, let me know if you have any other questions!

    erinkay81: - I've been looking to do this too, and just wondered how your whole experience was with them? Obviously, you're super excited about the outcome, which is very encouraging, but I'm a little nervous to do something like this. Was it easy to feel comfortable once you met and started the session?

    I did these for my DH about a year after the wedding, and even as a plus sized woman, it was a great experience!

    I did mine with Noyan Photography.  In my opinion Boudoir photography is for sure Nia's strongest point- she does amazing boudoir work!

    I also recommend LaTricia Soucy with LSoucy Photography.  www.lsoucyphotography.com.

    I did mine through I love Boudior and I would HIGHLY recommend them.  They are very good at what they do and make you feel comfortable.

    I plan on doing this for my FI, either for Valentine's Day as it's only a few weeks before our wedding or perhaps as a little wedding gift. I'm curious, though, how much does it cost to do something like this?

    It totally depends on where you go...  it can be anywhere from $150 to $1k+ at some places.  It also depends on if hair/makeup is included or you pay for that yourself, and of course if you buy new/different outfits or props for it.

    I did them for my now husband and he loved them.  I used Gina of Gina Keilen Photography.  She made me feel so comfortable and pretty which is what a girl really needs in those situations.  I would highly recommend her for any of your photography needs.
