Duluth hotels/resorts

My wedding is may 25 2013 (memorial day weekend) and all of my guests will be staying in a hotel. Does anyone have some recommendations?? Thanks so much!

Re: Duluth hotels/resorts

  • I recommend *avoiding* the Duluth Radisson. We stayed there a couple of years ago and were very disappointed, there was not enough guest parking (and this is a chronic problem there, according to online reviews). The walls were paper-thin and we were woken up a lot by children running through the halls.

What part of Duluth are you interested in? There are some nice lakefront hotels in Canal Park, and if your wedding was nearby, one of those would probably be lovely.
  • I should have mentioned where.. The ceremony is at Leif Erikson park and the reception is at Clyde Iron Works. Since all of my guests are coming in from out of town, I want to make sure I get a hotel that has a lot of ammenities near it. Also, I'd like a hotel that provides a shuttle to and from the reception.

The Edgewater and Radisson provide free shuttles. I know the Sheraton also has a shuttle, but I don't know if they charge to use it. Also there were plans in the works to build a hotel near Clyde Iron, so I'd check with them to see if they know when that hotel will open. It might save on transportation costs if guests just stay right there.
  • Just got an invite to a Duluth wedding and these are the hotels they blocked:
