My officient told me i need to get our license 60 days before the date. Does that mean it needs to be before the 60 days? also what do you need to bring? My fi has been married before, divorce papers?

You need to go no sooner than 60 days out. But the info from the pp should be very helpful.

Usually NYS requires a photo ID, any valid divorce papers and both future spouses. For my municipality, there's a 24 hour waiting period and the licence is good for 60 days. I just looked this up...
