Has anyone checked out or have been to a wedding at either the Midtown Loft and Terrace in NYC or Royce Brook CC?  I am looking at both in the upcoming week (along with a million other places) and wanted some more feedback.  Esp. on Royce.  Thank you!  Laughing

    I've been to midtown loft and terrace and they do nice events. If you are looking in the city though check out Metropolitan Pavilion they do great stuff and have a few different event spaces to choose from. I've been to a few things there!

    I golf at Royce Brook frequently.  I believe they told me that weddings take place in the permanent tent, not inside the clubhouse (the clubhouse dining room is small and not particularly fancy...have seen bridal showers in there though).  The bathrooms for the pavilion are on a white metal truck-like thing, kind of like an upscale outhouse, if you know what I mean.  While the staff at RB are friendly, I don't know how it would be for weddings.

    Thanks for the feedback!  My fiance golfs @ Royce every now and then too.  While the tent looks gorgeous and sleek, I had no idea about the bathrooms!  I have appts to see both next week.  I am a little eager to see this bathroom situation now :(

    Midtown Loft looks pretty awesome and isn't as pricey as I thought it would be at all!  Just the transportation issue holds me back.
