Not only have I signed up for the 5K (Dec 4, gives me time to get to the point where I can run a whole 5k!), but I started Couch to 5K tonight!
It really was not as bad as I anticipated. Don't get me wrong, it was a challenge, but not so much that I felt defeated. It was the good kind of challenge, the kind that leaves you wanting more. I was shocked when it was done. Glad, yes! but shocked because I thought I had another 5 minutes.
I do it again Thursday and I have to admit I'm kind of sad not to do it tomorrow. It's probably good though, I can definitely feel that my body will be sore tomorrow.
