Seriously, I need to stop finding new DIY projects!!This week, I ordered a couple cute plain clutches from etsy for myself and my MOH; one in silver and one in off-white. I'm going to add my own embellishments; I'll feather and bling them up ;) It is way cheaper for me to do it this way and they will be exactly what I want and reusable.These are the little clutches I ordered for less than $30 (for 2!):

　Britt inspired me to buy some iron-on bling transfers for oversized men's shirts for the bridal "party"; my sister, mom, flower girl and my friend-slash-make-up artist. I just couldn't resist - the pics will be awesome ;) Found a great deal on etsy.. of course :PSeeing as the flower girl will have a flower wand, I'm going to make my son (the ring bearer) a wand/flag of his own to match. His will have "Here comes the bride" on one side and "She loved me first" on the opposite side lol.
Theeennnn, I picked up a DIY kleenex box holder (just the wooden case) so that I can paint and decorate it as the official "happy tears" tissue box for the podium at the ceremony and at the reception. I know we're gonna need them.... :P
AND yesterday it hit me that my son's 6th bday is only 4 months away!! I normally have it all planned by the 6 month mark; can you tell I was an event planner?! lol. I gotta get on that too! I have a good idea of what we're doing but I need to make myself a plan to execute.

    hahaha I don't think you should be stopped.  I have been too busy to start my DIY projects but already wish I had more.  Your job has been so stressful....creative outlets that make you happy are not only good but necessary!!!! I have a boring job and go to school so once I get thru midterms I am itching to do something creative!  As long as you just prioritize and have the big stuff done (vendors and such), and do your favorites first in case you run out of time (which it is still super early) I say go for it! 

    Cute clutches at a great price! 

    And I may be stealing your "happy tears" idea because I know I'm going to need them.  May have them next to my mom though because she'll need it more!  Mind if I ask where you found the holder and how much you paid for it?

    I bought the holder at the dollar store lol
    I saw it yesterday and remembered that I wanted to make my own holder so it was perfect! Very cheap!!

    Being creative really is therapy for me; that and working out help keep me sane!

    Oh man I looooove the dollar store!  Definitely going to do that then.  Then, why would you ask us to stop you from your therapy, silly girl?  Haha.  Can't wait to see pictures of your completed projects

    I got these too for our mad libs/pencils for the tables in the cocktail area.
    Love the dollar store!!



    the kleenex box looks almost exactly like this (a bit shallower I think) and it had a pull-out bottom (kinda like a wine box).

    I love those ideas!  I have the opposite problem, I hate spending money on things that I don't know if I can make them turn out how I envision.  I just need to bite the bullet!

    Where did you get those clutches? What are the sizes like? Still haven't made up my mind on one, I love the style of ones like that, but not sure if they'll fit my blackberry...

    Not fitting the blackberry is soo unacceptable hahahaha!  I just got one and am totally addicted.  I'm pretty sure FI is going to be reading his vows off of his because I think it is surgically sutured to his hand.
