Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
I got my jewelry at Na Hoku, a Hawaiian fine jeweler. I didn't even realize at that time that I would be wearing it for my wedding because I wasn't engaged yet, but I decided it was what I wanted to use and it would suit my beachy/tropica/Hawaiian theme.
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
I am buying my earrings today! It's a gorgeous pair that I found at Nordstrom about a month ago but couldn't bring myself to spend that much money. After looking at a bunch of different department stores and bridal shops, I've decided I have to have them. It's the only jewelry I plan to wear besides my rings of course.
I got my bracelet at Carson Pirie Scott (also known as Bergners and several other names in different areas.) I originally bought my earrings there too, but when i went to my first fitting, the seamstress sold jewelry and I found a pair of earrings I like better, so i bought those instead.
I have gone down the vintage route (after many purchases which I later changed my mind on!). I got them from here - http://www.vintageheaddresses.com/vintage_jewellery.html I had such a nightmare for months before I found the perfect pieces, spent a fortune on earrings I changed my mind about and had to ebay them!!!

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
