I heard the story and then tried to find the article (woman washes away painting came up several times?) and was a little surprised by the picture also.
Kimbrough said Tisch urinated after she rubbed up against the canvas at the recently opened Clyfford Still museum in Denver.
"It doesn't appear she urinated on the painting or that the urine damaged it, so she's not being charged with that," Kimbrough said according to the Denver Post.
The top comment by a reader says:: "Paintings worth that much are usually out of reach of the public. The museum should be held responsible for not taking better care of artworks."
Um no, people should know it's socially unacceptable and damaging of property to do something like that regardless of how in reach it was.

So what you're saying is that this is not allowed?
I saw this crap on msn yesterday and I was like whattheholyfuck?
Hey, I just went to the Clyfford Still Museum on Saturday!! i liked it.
And I thought a bride and groom having their wedding pictures taken there was the oddest thing to happen this week there.
I am pretty sure "she was drunk at the time" pretty much sums it up.
I am actually disappointed because I really like Still and the museum is really cool. We actually had to compete with 19 other American cities to get it. And then people act like idiots.

I really like that painting though.
