Ceremony Music - HELP

We're pretty non-traditional, but I am having a hard time finding the perfect songs. There are songs I love, but i don't think the wording fits appropriately. And how do you transition from songs the bridal party walks down to and when I enter, or should I just wait till the song is finished with the bridal party before beginning mine? So many questions! Ah..

    We used a string trio and had Here Comes the Sun for the bridal party, In Your Eyes for me, and Star Wars Throne Room for our recessional. I waited until the Beatles song was over before mine started.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    I'm having a very good friend who is a jazz trumpetist play trumpet voluntary for me as I walk down te aisle and having the instrumental version of bittersweet symphony by the verve played for the recessional.  You can you tube it to lsiten to it - it sounds very nice and is upbeat yet still sounds classical.  Hope that inspires you & good luck!
