  • I toured it, and was really disappointed. It had an awful smell and and even had the opportunity to see them setting up for an event. A lot of their supplies are REALLY run down, the flooring pretty much needed to be replaced 5 years ago- and their dance floor was really beat up.

  • My sister had her reception at the downtown location but they use the same event staff for both.  I know that she struggled a bit with communication for her 2009 wedding because they had lots of turnover.  Their catering manager that ended up taking over was a total azz and my parents pretty much had an intervention with him because of his pissy attitude.  I have no idea if he is still there.  That being said, both the venues are totally gorgeous  - especially when they're all decorated up.
  • Are you talking about the downtown location or the Summit Avenue location? We toured the Summit clubhouse and found it to be very shabby and run-down. Worn carpets, old creaky floors, etc. Not impressive at all for a private club.

This was the one I toured, it was a huge letdown- especially for that part of St. Paul.

  • Ohh I didn't realize there were two. The one I was at, the reception was upstairs in a large room with huge windows. There was a bar room at the end.. I don't know, I'm terrible at explaining things. I really don't know which one it was but maybe it was the other one? It's been a while, haha.
