    I won't be able to participate in the siggy challenge this month.. My aunt is making my cake and I won't know what it looks like until the day of (I am giving her full confidence that she will make it gorgeous)!!  I think from what she said it will be lots of swirls (we are using Bettercream frosting which is like a cool whip so hard to do a lot of details) and using edible pearls to add a little bit of fun!  

    I hadn't even thought about a topper yet, are those 100% necessary??  Where do you get them?

    Nope those arent necessary at all. You can always keep it empty or just add flowers on top. For this months siggy you could always do your dream cake. It doesn't have to  look like how your aunts is going to look. :)

    I am probably using flowers or if I find fake ones resembling my inspiration I'll use those.

    we were contemplating a monogram cake topper...decided to nix it and just go with the strawberries =)

    we haven't given the final OK for the cake, so i just used inspiration pics.  pretty close to these two - except without the lava of chocolate strawberries. haha.

    For our cake, I have no idea what it is going to look like.  The bakery is in Ohio and I live in Ohio.  I won't get to see it or taste test until our reception up there. The only thing I have full controll over is the cake topper, see below.  I just pray it turns out great!

    We're not having cake.  A street food vendor is going to come and make mini donuts with toppings for all the guests.
