Saturday...i know it is more expensive, but knowing that everyone can just have a good time and not be coming or going to work or worrying about rush hour, it's worth it. I'm only planning on doing this once!!! If it doesn't work out, i'll get married on a Sunday next time. LOL

We considered a Monday wedding, but my MOH couldn't commit, so we went with Friday. We did a destination wedding, though, so there were no issues with work.

Saturday, just because we do have people coming from out of town. We want them to be able to rest up after driving, party hard, and not be exhausted when they have to travel back home. Also, my two almost-stepsiblings are teenagers and have school, so I wouldn't ask them to skip.

saturday. We haven't had an issue with higher prices due to using a university in the summer in a smaller town. (there is probably only about 1 or 2 other things happening in that building that month! lol)
