So, I went to DC this weekend for a job interview and bridesmaid dress shopping and stuff.
My interview went well and the offer I got was really good...I think I'll be taking it. It's contigent on me graduating, publishing, etc so nothing guaranteed yet, but it looks like FI and I will get to live in the same state after all! So that was cool.
Then I picked my wedding band out - here's the setting/band together.
Then I went BM dress shopping. It was a not so fun experience because my little sister was very pouty/disagreeable the whole time. She kept leaving the store while we were in the middle of deciding things to call her boyfriend. And she kept talking about when SHE gets engaged how things will be different...it was a little annoying. But here are the dresses:
They're alfred angelo, and will be purple with ivory in the center. MOH got a different dress, and it will just be purple. Glad to have this over with!
This was the first time during planning where everyone else's expectations started to really stress me and I kept thinking that we should just elope. I hope I don't have too many more days like that!
