FI addressing invites

So.. we need to mail out our invitations this week. HOORAY!

i told my FI to start gathering up all the addresses and putting them on the list of names we have.

Well FI just called me at work to tell me he is ADDRESSING his envelopes. hhmmm...okay... so he is actually writing the addresses onto the envelopes. wow. i wish he would have waited for me.

we weren't going to hire a caligrapher or anything... but i do have like 10 times better handwriting then him. ha. oh well.

i am learning now to pick my battles. lol.

ay yi yi!  My H has the handwriting of a 3rd grader, so I feel your pain!  Oh well, at least it will get done, right?

Good for you - learning how to pick your battles!  He probably thinks he is saving you the hassle of having to write them over.

I was not happy with the way our invites were addressed but I would doubt that anyone who received them stopped to critique the penmanship on the envelopes.  So although I really wanted them to look good, in the end it did not matter.

It's exciting that you are sending out your invites!!

<div>This exactly!  So long his handwriting is good enough for the post office to deliver them, then it's not something to worry about.  I would doubt that you will remember what the handwriting on the envelopes look like by your first anniversary.</div>

Aww, that's kinda sweet of him!  I just need to remember to tell my FI NOT to do that, his handwriting is completely illegible, lol.

Lol that's too funny.  Glad you find it charming!!  My sister would have FREAKED for her wedding a year ago, and I would have loved the help (if he tried to).  :P  He just let me take care of it but that's too cute!!

Aww that's sweet. I would have felt the same way about the handwriting thing lol, but that is a very kind gesture on his part that shows he really cares about you and the wedding!
