Lisa Love Experience or Kahootz/K2

Does anyone have any experience with the bands Lisa Love Experience or Kahootz/K2 (can't tell if this is one band or 2 different bands)?

Both sound really good on their websites but I'm looking for recs from people who have heard them perform.

Right now I'm also really liking District 21---they are probably the best I've heard so far. I'm just a little nervous because the next time they have a live show my parents can attend is November and they are pressuring us to make decision because other people have shown interest in our date. I don't know how I feel about choosing a band without anyone seeing them live yet (it will have to be my parents because I live in DC).

    We saw Lisa Love and they were really good and had great energy.  We heard them play at a bar on a Friday night and they had everyone on the dance floor!  We also had a chance to speak to Lisa and her husband (the bassist, I think) and they were incredibly friendly and accessible.  You don't have to go through a manager to access them, which is a big advantage in my opinion.  That being said, ultimately we went with Soho largely because Lisa Love is 4-5 pieces and I felt pressure to choose 7-8 pieces (and also because Soho is fantastic).  I didn't hear any of the others, but our wedding contact at the hotel had very good things to say about District 21 and Kahootz.

    We hired K2 for our wedding- we saw them at a wedding last year and were beyond impressed. So far, they've been great to deal with. Good luck!
