200 days left update!

Hi ladies!

I sort of "fell off" this board in the last two months between the holidays, traveling and moving!

Just wanted to check in and see where everyone was at!

We recently had our second meeting with our priest, booked our honeymoon flights, and sent out our save the dates.

Wondering what you are all tackling next...

Our list includes:
1. Starting to look at invites (anyone used magnet street?)
2. Starting our registries
3. Putting our engagement announcement in the paper
4. Booking our hotel blocks
5. Picking out a rehearsal dinner site

I'm around the same spot as you. My list is similar. We just did the registry. Blocking hotel rooms this week. FI and his mom narrowed down the rehearsal dinner list. I'm starting to investigate invitations (and am also looking at magnet street since you can change the colors around-my colors are orange and blue, hard to come by!).

I think we've got all the big stuff booked! Right now I'm looking at:

1. Planning the ceremony

2. Bridesmaids Dresses

3. My dress alterations

4. Wedding shoes, make up, accessories, etc

5. Figuring out food

I have not used magnet street, but I've loved everything I've gotten from Vistaprint so far.

We really liked the save the dates we did from magnet street...and how you can customize the colors. I'm not sure i'm really digging the paper for the invite we are looking at at magnet street though...maybe i'll call them and ask.

If you're looking for invitation recs, I highly recommend using Jen from Designer Jen. She's located here in CT. Our STDs and invitations ended up being less expensive than Magnet Street and we absolutely loved working with her. Once they're in I'll show photos.

Her website is www.designerjen.org and I think if you get a recommendation from a knottie she gives 10% off your order.

We used magnet street for our STD's and we loved them. However, they were more expensive than our invitations and everything we ordered with the invites (thank you postcards, return address labels for us, return address labels for my parents). We got our invites on 123print.com and highly recommend them.

Yay! Time will fly- we used magnet street, loved them!

My to-do list right now is to get the invites mailed, finish favors, and begin the details, plan the ceremony...the list gets bigger as it gets closer I feel like!
