Hi ladies =] Been lurking for way too long, so I'm reintroducing myself. I'm Nikki, my FI is Matt. We're getting married 9/7/12 on Crystal Lake in Middletown, CT. We can't wait to start our new life together!

Plans for the weekend: drinks with MOH & BMs tonight, kintting get together with friends tomorrow & church on Sunday.

Hope you have a great weekend too! Plans for this weekend include, finishing up some homework, maybe looking at invtations tomorrow, trying to find shoes that go with the bridesmaid dresses and Sunday is craft day, and e-mailing my reception lady to try and set up a time where we can try food out!

Welcome back! Thank goodness its Friday

Plans for this weekend include picking up more glass jars for our candy buffet from Hobby Lobby tonight (since they are 50% off right now), going shopping with my mom for her dress tomorrow, working on finishing our save the dates so that we can get them out before the end of the month, and going to our last place for bridesmaid dresses on Sunday! After that we will pick one and get that process going. Oh and I also have to work I almost forgot since its not as fun as the rest of the wedding stuff this weekend.

YAY Friday!!! It's been a helluva week for me and I'm so happy to see it coming to an end! I'm stoked about the awesome Michaels coupons starting tomorrow so I'll be hitting up my craft heaven tomorrow. My son is staying with his auntie for the weekend and FI is off to the cottage tomorrow so I have time POUR MOI!! I'll probably kick it off with some Say Yes to The Dress tonight and maybe even a glass of wine

I have a four day weekend so I can't wait for this wrok day to be done! Today is our anniversary so we're going out for amazing Turkish food tonight to celebrate.

This weekend we're going away with two other couples for a friend's birthday. One of the guys is a chef so we're guaranteed to eat well. I'm also making guacamole and two kinds of salsa. I'll probably gain some weight back this weekend but it will be worth it!

I am really looking forward to it. The other couples are planning on going skiing but FH and I plan on staying by the fire and relaxing. I am so excited!

mamameech, it definitely has been a long week. My mom had a double mastectomy on Monday, she's home & resting. She's so strong, I hope I get to be as cool as her someday. FI's mom went into the hospital Tuesday (she's still there). I'm soo looking forward to that margarita tonight.

Hi there! Lets see, my weekend looks pretty boring. After work I have to milk cows today (was supposed to be OFF today but ugh!) and then I get to go home and pass out, because I have to be up at 3am to once again milk cows. Then who knows what I will do. I took off from my FT job and from the farm Monday so I can do wedding stuff and get a tooth filled.

I used to date a guy from CT when I was in college. He lived in Ridgefield, just outside Danbury. I used to like going there to get away from school for a while but the town was just too weird for me. If it was after 9pm, there was nothing to do because everything closed. If I got hungry while hangin out at his place, I was SOL.

I went to URI and my Drive from Upstate NY to Kingston RI, took me through Middleton, New London and Groton, reading this just brought back memories, I think it was I84 to route 691 to route 9N to I95, its been a LONG time.

I have a big weekend of DIY projects planned. FI is working all weekend and I have Monday off so I should be able to get a ton of stuff done, hopefully.

Tonight we are going to the accountant to get our taxes done. Hopefully the federal govt will be donating a lot of money to our wedding fund, fingers crossed :-)

Welcome back!

Our weekend is going to be pretty quiet. I went bridesmaid dress shopping and I think I've finially made a decision. I've realized it's impossible to make everyone happy. I have stressed over this dress so much more than my wedding gown!

FI and I will have a lazy weekend and then pick out tuxes on Sunday. Next weekend is a BIG wedding weekend in NC. MOB dress shopping, bridal show, pick linens, talk to lighting guy AND meet with RD location!
