Yes I've been several times and like it.  I love Salem in general and it's in a great area.  It's right on the wharf so a nice place to be in the warmer weather.  It's a little old school but good old school if you know what I mean.  I think they have a function room too.  They also have outdoor patio seating as well.  I think it's a great option for a RD.

A gf of mine had her baby shower there, it's nice. Food is good, and the location is great especially since you can walk from Pickering Wharf back to the Hawthorne if you are staying there the night before your wedding.

We're having ours at Finz. Check it out there as well.

We wanted Finz and it booked up. I was actually pretty devastated!

I've been to dinner there once and the food was really good!  I thought it was very nice insed and "cozy" feeling...I have not seen the function room though.  We are having ours at the Lyceum in Salem...the prices were very reasonable for functions and we have the whole upstairs.  We loved the inside and from what we could tell, the food was excellent...we had dinner at the restaurant downstairs.  If you're looking for other options, definitely check it out!

Our RH is going to be at Victorias station, FMIl wanted Finz and I vetoed that .  My MOH is highly alergic to seafood and will not got to a " seafood specialty" resturaunt.
I loved it.  Very homey, dark wood, great food, big open window over the harbor
