I haven't been on here in quite a while, so hi! Hope everyone's plans are going well!
We've gotten some MAJOR checks done!
-Hired the ceremony musicians and paid the deposit
-Scheduled the time for the rehearsal
-Found edging for my blusher (my mom is making it for me)
-Have addressed and put together nearly all of the invitations (just waiting for a few more addresses and also to figure out the stamps - we're going to mail them out in the next few weeks)
-Scheduled my first dress fitting for the 17th
-Ordered shoes online (I finally gave up on pink shoes...I didn't think I could get them dyed in time for the fitting and just went with a white pair I liked)
and the most fun of all...
-Booked the flights for the honeymoon! We also have the hotel booked for Paris and the Eurostar to take us to London but haven't gotten the London hotel yet. Hope to have it booked by the end of the week. I cannot wait for the honeymoon, London is one of my favorite cities and I can't wait to show it to FI.
My next tasks are to hire the limo and figure out what the favors are going to be. I had planned to make truffles but the test run I did at Christmas - um, yeah no way I can make 300 of those things without a lot more patience. It took an hour to make 39 and while tasty they weren't exactly pretty.
I also have to go do my makeup trial sometime this month. And we have to meet with the minister about planning the ceremony and figure out what songs we're going to use, for the ceremony and reception.
Man, now I'm a little depressed, I still have a lot to do!!!!
EDIT: Forgot one, we got our rings! Unfortunately when we went to pick them up mine hadn't been resized like it was supposed to be. But FI's fits perfectly.
