So, FI and I are 4 months and 10 days away, or 130 days! Eeeep!!

Our check marks consist of...
  • My gown - purchased in full - just needs alterations (i haveee to find shoes too! having a hard time with the shoes- part of me says "no on is going to see them" the other part says "buy the best shoes ever!" - ugh.)
  • BP gowns - purchased & in posession of my 2 ladies
  • FG gowns - purchased & in posession of my 2 FG's
  • FOB & Ring Bearer - measure for tux's
  • Our men are wearing Class A uniforms - no money spent there!!
  • Wedding cake down payment paid as of  today!
  • Reception Venue paid off!
  • Photographers - down payment paid!
  • DJ down payment + extra paid!
  • Unity Candle & In Memory of Candles purchased
  • Toasting Flutes & Serving set obtained as christmas gifts!
  • Card Box - gifted by my mom - its a firetruck shaped mailbox.

 

Brides Maids: Style 6553 at alfredangelo.com dress color is navy blue and sash color is moonlight walz.

FG's: Style 6604 at alfredangelo.com their dress color is white & the trim color is navy.

    Congrats on all of your checks!  Sounds like you are right on target :)  

    I personally splurged on shoes.  I know no one is going to see them, but it's the one time in my life I felt like i could justify purchasing designer shoes :o  But, they aren't SO crazy or plain white that I can't wear them again :)

    I am a shoe addict so I splurged on shoes. Plus, I see the new trend is photogs taking pics of the bride's shoes. You can always do that so that they are noticed

    I'm completely lost as to what shoes I'm going to wear with my dress.  I can't justify spending a ton of money on shoes right now, plus I'm picky.  I'm probably going to wear a pair of cowboy boots from my sister since I'm getting married in a barn (and it's something borrowed).  If not that, then I may just wear a pair of sandals.  No one will see, and I'd rather be comfortable.  If you get shoes that you can wear again, why not splurge a little if you can afford to?
