We will be planting a tree together. Unsure of what type of tree yet.
I don't need another candle, or two or three. I dont need a vase with sand. So we decided to plant a tree that can be placed in our yard and grow forever! like our love, awwww

What will you be doing?
PS: any ideas for a hearty but quick growing tree in GA? thanks
Re: unity ceremony!
Our officiant told us about one of her couples that was doing something similar and they are planting the tree using dirt from both of their childhood homes.

[QUOTE]Where are you planting the tree? And is it part of the ceremony? I've never heard of anything like this. I like the sentiment, but it seems like it would be tricky to manage as part of the ceremony. Sorry I'm no help for types of trees (maybe post on a GA board?).

[QUOTE]I don't know about trees AT ALL, but the reason we're coming down from Chicago to Savannah to get married is partially because of the gorgeous live oaks with spanish moss. So maybe an oak tree? They're known to be strong and able to withstand just about any storm once they reach maturity.
