hey lady!
i posted a while back about hotel blocks in downtown chicago and you mentioned you found some great rates downtown, can you share which hotels you used?  another girl had asked but i'm not sure you would see that thread again so i thought i'd try to find you! :)

or- if anyone else has ideas for downtown hotels i'm all ears, most of our guests are OOT so want to make it easy for them.

    Both The Sutton Place Hotel and the Residence Inn Chicago (Magnificent Mile) quoted great rates for my NYE wedding.  The key is blocking as far in advance as possible.

    I have a block reserved at the Four Points by Sheraton on Rush St. - the rate is great especially considering it's the middle of the summer.  And I only did it about 3 months in advance.  I also have a block reserved at the Peninsula, which is giving us an AMAZING rate, but that might be because our reception's there.
