Different Color BM Dresses? Need opinions, please!

OK so I love this simple style from david's bridal. its cotton sateen with ruching and pockets, and the Ruby color is the red we are using. I am letting the girls choose their own dress style, fortunately the 2 BMs like this 1 and the MOH is up in the air on it.

Well one of my BM's had an idea about putting each girl in a different color.
Like the colors of the sunset kind of thing...magenta, burnt orange and red.
This David's dress comes in a ton of colors...

What do you guys think? Are all your BMs wearing the same color/style?

this idea can be super cute, I unfortunatly have no bridesmaids, but if I did I'd consider something like this.

aww those are adorable, i just love how the colors are all similar but not too matchy matchy. i talked to my BMs and they all think its a great idea to do different colors.

luckily, 1 BM loves pink so this Watermelon shade works for her

and the other looks good in jewel tones and plum is my accent color, so Wine is for her

and i'm hoping the MOH will wear the Ruby, shes very tan so the red will look good with her skin tone.

well personally i'm not a fan of the dress.. but that's a color we were using when we were thinking about david's. i do like when they all have different colors..or if they all have different dresses in the same color..or if 2 & 3 or whatever.. but since the one that doesn't like it is the MOH why doesn't she pick a different dress she likes in the same color? or even a different color & dress? since it's ok for her to stand out a little from the BM..

& my maids are most likely not wearing the same color/style. i'm sure how or which way yet though..

I think it could definitely work, but definitely make sure you ladies try them on together. Don't just choose the colours online. Make sure that,although they're different colours, they still compliment each other in person.

i think that could definitely look cute. the colors seem to go together pretty well online, but i agree with pp have them try the colors on together. could be totally different in person.

I think it's a great idea. I love when the bridal party wears different dresses and colors that still complement each other. Like the pps said, you'll want to make sure the colors and styles look good together overall.

ooh cute idea. I completely agree with pp make sure to try on those colors together even if they dont have the color in the same dress. My girls are all wearing different styles from davids. My MOH is wearing that dress in pool. All are wearing pool with ruby shoes

i thought of doing this before we decided to have the girls wear black. they only ended up with the sam dress beacuse i found some cute ones for cheap.

i think they'll look great but i agree to check all of the colors in person to make sure it looks cohesive.

thanks, ladies!! i'm relieved i'm not the only one who likes/considers this idea.
i'm prob going to david's this morning when they open to pick up my dress, so while i'm there i can check out those colors together.
so exciting!!!!
