Hawaii Bride Calendar & Parasol

I've updated the calendar with the names & dates of folks that I know would like the Mahalo Parasol.  If you'd like to sign up for the parasol, please reply to this thread so I can update the sticky to indicate you'd like it.

Charlottethebride (April 25) is next to get it from Keltons.  Speak up if your wedding is sooner or forever hold your peace :)

Charlottethebride -- please be sure to post here (PM me or page me on the board) when you've received it and I will update to show you have the calendar.

Also, if you're not on the calendar but would like to be, page me on the board or PM me.

    Yep, the same parasol is handed down from bride to bride.  Participation is optional, but it's a nice way to be connected to the Hawaii Board brides before you :)  Each bride pays for shipment to the next bride.  If you're both on island, you can do a local handoff.  That's about it.  You don't have to do it, but if you want to, you get the tags *wants parasol* next to your name on the calendar and wait your turn.

    AKWB - Just added your parasol request to the main calendar.  I wonder if you and Taina747 overlap at all, or if she can leave it for you somewhere on island given the holiday!

    I'm on the calendar and I definitely want the parasol! I hope to use it for photos to use on our thank you postcards! Could you add Oahu next to my calendar date, just in case it's helpful for brides before or after me with the handoff. Thanks!

    Got you!  Wow the parasol is going to be SUPER busy in June through AKWB's wedding in July.  Please plan early to ensure you know where you will be sending the parasol.  The day after your wedding is NOT one you want to be rushing to get online to PM someone for an address :)

    Tanq (and anyone else) - If there is ever a long gap of time and the bride who just used it doesn't want to travel with it, i wouldn't mind hanging onto it here on Oahu. just a thought!

    Add please!  We are getting married on 4/28/11 at the Olowalu and will be arriving in Maui on 4/22.  I CANNOT believe the wedding is less that three weeks away.  Time has FLOWN!!!  Charlottethebride - where is your wedding on 4/25?
