NWR: Tonight we're having a family dinner/cake for my brother's birthday and then I'm going to a bonfire party. Tomorrow we're checking out some more houses and then taking a limo to the city to celebrate my brother's birthday.

FRIDAYYYYYYY

NWR: Girls night in with one of my BMs tonight! Tomorrow I'm watching my nephews for a little while. FI and I are also taking a trip to Home Depot and some other stores so we can start pricing out paint, materials, furniture, tools, rugs, etc etc for our new house.

WR: SO MUCH TO DO! This weekend we'll be doing the centerpieces, addressing and putting stamps on our invites, assembling favors, and some other organizing and whatnot. All of our wedding stuff is in my basement and it's absolute chaos! I did a bad job of keeping track of what we have so I'm probably going to have to do a stock check haha. Also, we need to find a unity candle......

Woohoo!!!

NWR: Going to visit my sister in New Hampshire this weekend. We are going to see the musical Chicago in Vermont tomorrow

Then probably go to dinner. She goes to school at Dartmouth, and I'm so happy to have her within driving distance (3 hours)...all of my other friends and family are still in Indiana, so it REALLY helps that she moved out here last summer!

WR: We will DEFINITELY be putting the belly bands on the invites. That is my number one goal this weekend. Also need to finish stamping on return addresses and RSVP envelopes, as well as stuffing the invites. Most are done, but we messed up some of the RSVP envelopes and had to order more.

Yay!! I am SO excited for this weekend because FI and I are going shopping in Chicago tomorrow! On my list of things to shop for are:

-Strapless bra
-Rehearsal dinner dress
-MAKEUP!

ugh I am freaking out our stupid invites are so time consuming and I am so busy I just feel like I have no time to get anything done!!!

Tonight sushi dinner with FI.

Tomorrow going with my father and 2 brothers to get them measured for the tuxes then everyone is coming back to our house for pizza.

Sunday working on invites all day with my mom.

YAY Finally the weekend!!!

WR: Baking, Baking, Baking!! We are making all of the cookies, lollipops, and chocolate for the wedding this weekend. We are going to my parents house, so will be very busy. Besides baking we also have to order the linens, buy the ring bearers tux, buy the material for my rehearsal dinner dress (my mom is making it, a compromise because she refused to make my wedding dress), go through the list with mom and dad, and soooo much more...

NWR: Not much NWR this weekend. I am going to Texas for work next week, so not going home again until Next Friday (straight to mom and dad's from work, and then going to the airport from their house) I think it'll be the longest FI and I have been apart since we started dating almost 3 years ago, will be weird!!!

yayyyyyyy so glad it is Friday! it is starting to scare me how quickly the weeks and the weekends are going....fiance and I have both been so busy that we don't feel like we have enough time to do everything we want to!!!

Tomorrow is fiance's birthday!! we are going to hot yoga class, getting brunch together, then I am leaving him for an hour or so to at least make an appearance at one of my good friend's bridal showers. Then I am taking him out for a nice steak dinner and some wine!! we decided to postpone our "break" to three months instead of 100 days so fiance could fully celebrate his birthday

then we are looking at more houses on Sunday, and having dinner with my parents so they can give fiance his birthday presents.

we aren't doing too much WR stuff this weekend....we have gotten so many checks done lately, it isn't even funny! at this point we are just freaking out that our invitation designer is still working on getting everything printed!!!

WR: Finishing addressing our invites, Finish printing favor tags, and See about ordering or making FG basket and RB pillow along with unity candle, and memorial candle.

NWR: Pampered Chef party tonight, and then hanging with some friend on Saturday night.
Other than that, laying low and going crazy on wedding stuff!!

Happy Friday! We actually have a lot going on this weekend and that's unsual for us, but nice, too.

NWR - It's my daughter's birthday today! She's 11 now, hard to believe. She was so sick for the first couple of years of her life and now she's a totally healthy and happy pre-teen who never stops talking (she comes by that honestly, though)! I got her a rocking digital camera that also takes video thanks to a smokin deal on one of my deal sites and I know she's going to LOVE it. She wants to have a poker party tonight (big brother's influence) so it will just be low key with copious amounts of junk food and soda. She's been telling me I need to have cake pops at my wedding so we're surprising her with a cake pop bouquet. FI's sister has a bakery so she made the cake balls and I'm going to get the sticks at Wally World when I go to get all the junk food. She also wanted to do an Indiana Jones marathon so that will be playing all day as we don't do school on birthdays.

Tomorrow we're going to my friend's new house for a housewarming/1 year anniversary party. It was supposed to be a pool party, but it's going to be chilly here tomorrow.

WR - Sunday we're going to a bridal show. We missed one last month and this will be the last one before our wedding. I'm hoping we might win something we can actually use, but really just want some alone time with FI and a chance to be with other people who are wedding obsessed! I also really need to work on my pomanders and put more time in on the aisle runner, but that may not happen with everything else going on since we'll be spending 6 hours in the car just to get to those two events.

This is the first weekend in a LONG time that I don't have much planned. I'm very excited for that! Tonight I'll be going to my bootcamp class at my gym then just lounge around. We've done quite a bit of work on our house and FI still has to finish a few things up. Mayyybe, I'll help.

WR: We booked our suit rental on Tuesday. FI is having second thoughts about the place (they sent some wrong colors in for the sample so he's afraid they won't get it right for the wedding) so we might go look somewhere else this weekend. They're wearing tan suits so not a lot of places had them for rent- or they had only one choice. Other than that, nothing WR.

Ceglare- Are you going to a mall? or are you shopping on Michigan Ave?

Today: I have a job interview this afternoon, and FI are headed to look at a house! Knottie Vibes are appreciated.

The rest of this weekend: tomorrow, I have 3 or 4 wedding related phone calls to make and emails to send, along with some homework projects. And I need to harp on FI about getting measured for his tux, and getting the last few addresses.

Sunday is senior day, the group of friends that are also graduating are having a brunch, then taking pics in our cap and gowns on campus.

Little bit of everything going on this weekend! and its 3 months today, so I am starting to freak out a little bit.

We're shopping along Michigan Ave. and are also going to Water Tower. Usually I'm leery of Chicago shopping because everything is so expensive but I have ordered a zillion dresses online and returned most of them, so I'm willing to shell out some $$ for peace of mind and to finally stop dress obsessing! The makeup obsessing won't stop, that's a neverending thing of mine.

Hi ladies! Yay for Friday! Everyone has such awesome plans for this weekend. I can't wait to come back on Monday and hear how it all went!

NWR:
Fiance FINALLLLLY finished one of the three credit agreements he's working on and it posted last night so he's finally getting a break from work for one night. We had to cancel our Dylan Prime dinner last Saturday because he had to work (seriously, billing 23 hours a day some days? not cool), so we're going tonight.

I can't wait to spend some time with him.

Tomorrow I head to Philly for my Godfather's 60th birthday! They're having a party at this bar and he's playing with his band. (He's pretty cool for an old dude.)

WR:
DRESS FITTING!!!! I'm terrified.

I will come back and PIP with photos in the black belt (if they have one for me to use). I'm bringing my hair flower and my earrings and my shoes, so I'll get a good idea of what I'll actually look like! So exciting. I'll probably also work on a few WR things with my mom. We're going to register at another store, too, because someone told my mom we "didn't have enough" on our registries . . . ? We have like 100 items.

Amanda - Bonfire? I am SO jealous. That sounds like so much fun.

Butterfly - HAPPY BIRTHDAY FIANCE! Sounds like a busy weekend.

ceglare - Have so much fun! You'll have to report back on your Sephora and/or MAC finds.

mbody - Did you just move into a new house? Or is this just updates to a house you've been in a while? (We've had a lot of house-related threads recently, so I love to know who's looking and who already bought.)

How fun!! I've had similar issues with ordering dresses online. It seems like such a great concept at the time, but I learned that I need to try stuff on. Good Luck!

mbody: I want to know too - is your house a new purchase?? fiance and I are intensely looking for a house right now and it's so stressful!!

ceglare: I can't wait to hear how your shopping goes!!! I also haven't found a rehearsal dinner dress yet and bceause my body is a funny shape, I really just can't buy dresses online (unless they are like a tee-shirt dress or something). If anywhere has great dresses please let me know!!

bridetobe- Have SO MUCH fun at your dress fitting! Is it your first one? I've had two so far and seriously didn't want to take the dress off.

My FI had the house built 8 years ago. He put the most basic stuff in and hadn't really upgraded or decorated much. It was a bachelor pad to say the least. So, over the past few weeks, we've painted 5 rooms, two hallways, put in chair rails in two rooms, put in new floors throughout the whole first floor and in the upstairs hallway and our bedroom. He's got to finish baseboards. He's made comments about wanting to sell and move, but that probably won't happen for a few years.

Thanks, ladies! Yes -- *FIRST FITTING*. I hope it turns out ok! I'm having some accessories-related drama (totally not drama but I'm overreacting) so I'm curious to see how it all comes together.

I keep seeing photos with black belts so I'm kind of thinking I may have to buy one, even though people have told me not to. I mean, really - how gorgeous is this:

And yeah - billing literally all day, every single day - no breaks whatsoever (he has his secretary get him meals and the only thing he's not billing is bathroom/coffee breaks/showering at the office - yes, they have showers). Last month he exceeded 300 hours. There have been at least 5 days this month he hasn't even been able to come home to change/shower and I've brought him a change of clothes at the office.

I HATE OUR JOBS. Hence, Cincinnati soon.

Happy Friday!

WR: This afternoon we have our showing at the golf course. I am excited to see what the decorator/florist has come up with. I've emailed her a bunch of pictures so hopefully she gets my ideas. Tomorrow we are going to look at buying a canopy for the ceremony, and this weekend I need to fill out all the addresses and send them in.

NWR: Tonight FI and I are going to a concert

Tomorrow I am taking him to meet my grandparents (gulp) for dinner and then we are going to see a ballet. Idk why but I'm in such a good mood today! Lml

Other than that, I'm babysitting (for my adorable flower girl and her siblings) tomorrow night, and have a whole lot of nothing else planned!

WR - We have our first dance lesson tonight, should be interesting. FSIL bought a dance package for us for Christmas, she must know something I don't know about her brother's dancing skills, lol. Hoping to make it to the jeweler to buy FI's ring too...finally!

NWR - Meeting some old friends that will be in town at Sea World. We have my future step daughter this weekend, always have so much fun with her! She always manages to make it into our bed in the middle of the night snuggled in between Fi and I. She's the only girl I'm willing to share FI's heart with. Hoping to get some pool time too as I'm ghostly white and need to get a tan started. Bought a couple new suits, all strapless of course!

bridetobe - Enjoy your fitting! Cant wait to see pics! Interested to see what the black belt will look like!

Everyone have a great weekend!! I'm so glad its Friday!

NWR - FI and I are going mini golfing and to the driving range this afternoon. Tomorrow we might try and tackle a small par 3 course. Sunday its supposed to rain so we are hoping to go see The Hunger Games if its still in theaters. Oh and we are going to start packing/going through stuff so in case we do close Tuesday we can move. Sunday we may stop by home depot after the movies to pick up paint samples to try and decide on two room colors.

WR - I want to put together our invitations, we still don't have invites but if I can consolidate all the boxes before we move that would be awesome. I also want to put together my BM's hangers this weekend.
