  ~Bug the landlord about the bug/refrigerator/air conditioner/front door problems
  
  ~Figure out the bills now that Roommate has decided she's leaving. It's complicated, but in a nutshell she's unemployed and has been offered a job as a live-in home health aide, and she had to give an answer today. It means she has to leave this house and won't be able to help with the rent/bills she signed on to help with through the last three months of the lease.
  
  ~The usual "stuff" - housework, kids, dog, etc.
  
  I'm thinking Sundays I might start making regular trips to the beach for the drum circle; the kids enjoy it and I miss going. Last night I went with the kidlings and a friend, and Kidlet spent the entire time bouncing and laughing, and he fell asleep in eight minutes (!) where it normally takes 30 to get him to settle for the night. The baby spent the whole time snuggled up sleeping in her wrap and I got to be out of the house with a grown-up and have a conversation that didn't involve Blue's Clues.

  Our engagement is this weekend!  I have a massage planned today and the rest of the week I just have to keep calm

  I have to prepare for our trip to India (we're leaving on Sunday!!).  I need to finalize the invite wording, print pics of outfits and jewelry i like, make a list of gifts, and book flight for my bachelorette party.  And of course, pack!  BUSY WEEK!

  Priya - Have fun this weekend!! Think of as a trail run for the wedding.
  
  ssarangi - Have fun on your trip. Make a list and make copies of it! I had mine and lost it. So we had to make another one when we got there. We got everything we needed but having a back up would have help my stress levels.

  I sent out the FINAL invites this morning woohoo! It's been a process with the two receptions (one east coast/one west coast), two different invites, multiple inserts, etc. so glad it's over! 

  
  

  this week, we are picking up our marriage license and this weekend, my sisters & mum are throwing me a bridal shower. i'm really touched by this as i really did not expect them to do this given the fact that as happy as everyone is that i'm getting married, it's really hard for everyone to handle my wedding without my dad being here (he passed away just over 8 months ago).  l''m so thankful for my wonderful mother, sisters and of course, fiance.  i never asked my sisters/mum to handle anything b/c i wanted them to have their time to grieve, and just was really surprised that they did all this for me.  They tried to keep it a surprise, but a couple of guests mistakenly RSVP'd to me instead of to my sisters!
  
  

  so that's it for the week... only 40-something days left !

  Today:  Drop DH to the airport, see an apartment.
  
  Tuesday:  See another apartment... ugh.
  
  Wednesday:  Job interview (yay!), then some driving around in a police car with a police dog (long story)
  
  Thursday:  Cleaning out stuff at my dad's house, pick DH up from the airport, Indian election party at our house
  
  Friday:  Probably a third apartment viewing, visiting friends with new baby
  
  Saturday:  DH's friends.  They're a little bit odd.  The wife only eats Indian food, is basically veg, and yells at you if she sees you eating meat.  But, she can't cook even dal to save her life, so we have to bring them food.  She also has the no shoes rule, but their house is really dirty, and she's just really random, like she keeps telling us different times and then says she has to change cause of her kids.  So not looking forward to Saturday.
  
  Sunday:  Brunch with another couple, followed by a concert.

  You've got a partner :-) It's like lather rinse, repeat!  I'm attempting to run/cardio/lift weights 5 days this week...  I've got just this last weekend to go for shopping etc and get my gear together for the big trip!

  Congrats to all the ladies above- exciting things going on this week!
  
  I'm getting ready for my bachelorette party coming up this weekend in Vegas!  I am so excited!  There are 10 girls coming and I am really touched that they are all taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with me....
  
  Other than that, wedding madness!  We are almost at the 1 month mark (in 2 days) and the stress level is through the roof.  I have so much to do and little things keep coming up.  Does anyone have a good checklist for things to get done the last month?  I am so scared that I will forget to take care of something big.  Here's what I have so far:
  
  -Finalize guest list (almost done)
  -Itineraries for the week and the wedding to share with family and vendors
  -Finish OOT bags (almost done)
  -Place cards
  -Seating arrangements
  -Touch base with all the vendors and wedding coordinator to make sure we are all on the same page
  -Get checks ready for vendors
  -Make sure all my outfits are together, with matching accessories (everything already bought)
  
  Can anyone think of anything else?  There's just so much to do!

  As far as anything forgotten -
  - Have you checked how your schedule and timing will be?  Have all the logistics been covered - e.g. where you are, when are you getting to your wedding ceremony, how you will get there etc? and for everyone else - parents, pandits, etc?
  - What about photography?  Are you and your hubby2be getting portraits done?

  Today: Work, negotiated our apartment lease. They dropped it down by $15/mo (last year we did better and had a $65/mo drop). FI is about to call India in a moment.
  
  Tomorrow: Work, then dinner work bridal shower.
  
  Wednesday: Work, dance class.
  
  Thursday: Work.... WR stuff?
  
  Friday: Work.... WR stuff?
  
  Saturday: Clean my car (maybe), massage, goin' into SF for dinner and to see CATS.
  
  Sunday: Pick up wedding rings, other WR stuff.
