DJ Question

Has anyone used or been to a wedding with any of the DJ's from Murray Hill Entertainment OR Greg 'Gates' Plowman? Any thoughts/knowledge/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    We are using Greg for our wedding in May. Although I obviously haven't heard him, he has been great to work with so far. He is really responsive to emails, and very organized. He was the only DJ we met with, and I think he was the first vendor that my fiance and I walked away from being 100% sure that's who we would go with (our initial meeting lasted well over 2 hours, so I guess you could say we clicked). Anyway, he made me feel really confident that he knew what he was doing and would do a good job and play what we wanted to play. Hopefully that turns out to be the case. I'd definitely meet with him and see what you think if you are hesitant.

    Thanks emgossett! I really appreciate the feedback. We have a conference call scheduled with Greg in a couple of weeks so I am looking forward to hearing what he has to say. He has been super responsive in emails and even though it's been tough to try and meet with him as he is a couple of hours out of our way I am hoping he turns out to be the one!

    I don't know about that DJ, but I LOVE the DJ we picked: Boston DJ & Entertainment Company. Our DJ was young, friendly, listened to our needs, and easily read the crowd to know what types of songs kept people on the dance floor. Their rates were reasonable too. Check them out at www.bostondjcompany.com.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.

    I realize this post is probably past your wedding date but just had to reply...my fiance and I met with Greg and were actually a bit put off by how long our first meeting was...and we barely were able to say two words!!  He told us his whole life story and how he got to be a where he is today...which is great to hear...but we really wanted to know what could he bring to our wedding to make it a great day.  Talked WAY too much!  We ended up going with Scott Sica Entertainment...great guy and incredible DJ!
