Eloping to NC coast

Hi everyone! My fiance and I live in Raleigh are looking into eloping or having a very small ceremony somewhere on the coast. Any ideas for a nice (and budget-friendly) place to go? Thanks!

    Ihad my wedding at the Surf City Center on Topsail Island. It right on the beach, beautiful location! It holds about 100 people (we only had about 75) and it is very budget friendly. We had our wedding mid- september so that the prices on the beach houses were really good. So everyone rented beach houses and made a long weekend out of our wedding.

    I wouldn't recommend the center for eloping. If you are going to do that, I would suggest renting a beach house at either end of topsail island. They are usually very private, less people. You can have a private little ceremony on the beach or on a deck (if a house has a really nice one).
