I am getting ready to send my invites out by the end of the month. I am not going overboard with the vintage look of them. I am using typewriter font which has an old fashioned feel. I have an idea of how they will look, but there are a few things I am not sure about. The pictures are a little easier to see in my bio (under DIY)
A. Should I use the cardboard colored paper for behind the invites or should I used the creamy patterned paper?B. Should I stick with the 2 doilies at opposite corners or should I use them in all 4 corners? OR should I get rid of the doilies completely?ANY OTHER THOUGHTS OR OPINIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED! AND YOU WONT HURT MY FEELINGS IF YOU HATE SOMETHING/EVERYTHING!
The outside--tied with a string and button closure (I can change the color of the paper button if need be)

The invite with a cardboard color paper backing...

Cardboard color paper backing with a striped ribbon (this may be too busy)

OR I could use this pretty ivory/antique colored paper for the backings...

and finally the antique/ivory paper with 4 doilies instead of 2
