    No idea what the deal is but I'm glad after hearing this that I ended up choosing a different hotel for our wedding. This was my #2. I hope everything works out for you. We heard the Omni is undergoing renovations but it'll be done by the wedding. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed that it works out, like I suppose you will have to do as well. :/

    Good luck! The Monteleone is such a gorgeous hotel, I'm sure everyone will like it anyway!

    We received the notice about rennovations too. They said it really shouldnt effect anything but the restaurant which you really dont want to eat at anyway.

    We're booked there too the start rennovations 3 weeks before our date.  From what I've gathered about the hotel, complaining won't amke any difference (they are rather set in their ways).  I'm not thrilled about it either but they are predominately working on the restaurant.  If you do get through to them, maybe they could advise you as to a timeline of when they will begin the work on the Carousel. Hopefully it won't interfere with your event.

    Wait...rennovations when?!?!  My room block is there but I didn't get any type of notification from them about this.  Crossing my fingers that they are starting after my wedding and that's why they didn't notify me?!?
