Hi!  I am torn between a few songs on  music.  What's everyone's thoughts....

Seating of the Family
Have I Told You Lately OR Somewhere over the Rainbow

Attendants' Processional
Wonderful World OR Annie's Song

Brides' Processional
Beauty and the Beast OR Canon in D

Suggestion:  what if you did the IZ version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", have the families seated during the first part, and when he starts singing "What a Wonderful World" you have the attendants process?

Otherwise, I prefer "Annie's Song" and Canon in D.  I personally don't think "Beauty and the Beast" is appropriate for a wedding ceremony.

I'm not familiar with the Bridal Jig.  Some suggestions for traditional and non-traditional recessionals include:

    Ode to Joy (Beethoven)
    Rondeau (Moret)
Hornpipe or La Rejouissance (Handel, both from Water Music)
    Signed Sealed Delivered (Stevie Wonder)
All You Need is Love (Beatles)
    Everything (Michael Buble)

  • I haven't heard that version... I'll look into it.  My fiance gets anxiety with traditional wedding music so that's why we're not really using it - I left Canon in D because I like it but he prefers Beauty and the Beast - which is lovely as an instrumental.  :)

    Any other thoughts?  Thanks!
  • Check out Vitamin String Quartet.. they have some great options... I'm walking down the aisle to Can't help falling in love with you (instrumental)...
