How are you all dealing with this heat/humidity? We have a/c in the living room only, so dh has been sleeping in there, and he just brought home checkerboard ice cream, yum! I'm hoping it will cool down soon.

    I heard on the news that tomorrow will be the last day of the heat wave. I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow night or Friday.

    Thankfully our A/C at home is pretty good. As for work, we're actually not using A/C; my building is really old and the A/C is super noisy, so we agreed to only turn it on if it got unbearably hot. (My coworker turns it on first thing in the morning and leaves it on for about an hour.) Surprisingly, my office hasn't been too hot because it faces north and faces another building. I'm also drinking lots and lots of water.

    Mmm. Ice cream.

    The A/C broke at the school I'm teaching summer school at...it was out Monday and Tuesday but luckily started working halfway through today.  The kids are miserable enough being in school during the summer, but add the crazy heat, and it was a brutal few days!

    Oh my gosh it's so gross out.

    I finally convinced H to put the window unit in our bedroom window on Monday night.  We only turn it on for sleeping, but wow it makes such a difference.  We actually may be getting a quote on central air today.

    The A/C in my part of our office when *BANG* and stopped working last Wednesday.  Theyv'e had people in all week, but it's still not back up and running.  Thankfully, I can wear skirts.  I feel sooooo bad for the people who work out on the floor.  It's nasty out there.

    We have AC in the bedroom, and I hate how noisy it is but the noise bothers my sleep less than the heat would! I feel like I haven't seen the dog in days though since he won't move from under the AC :)
    Work is not bad at all - our AC broke here a few weeks ago and we were miserable then, but thankfully it is working fine now.

    This heat is great for my wedding diet though, I never feel like eating at all when it is this hot & icky out.
