Since most of you like wine like myself, I came across this deal today - while it isn't top name brand, it's still a pretty good deal for an electric wine opener - we got 3 of them, one for ourselves and two as parts of wedding gifts :)

    Speaking of wine, I wanted to try red wine again the other night. I bought one of the mini bottles for $1.99 of merlot and it was awful. Get what you pay for hahahahaha

    I have this.  I love it.  I highly recommend it, but it doesn't like synthetic corks, so make sure you have a backup.

    Zims- I don't particularly like Merlot, however whatever Merlot was at our RD dinner was amazing. I think it was just house wine. I've had some pretty spectacular cheap wine. Try Trader Joes!

    Generally, yes. In fact, there is a big push among producers of sauvignon blanc to go entirely screw top, which I love, because I drink a lot of it. :) Synthetic corks are also better than the traditional "cork" cork, but nowadays, screw top (like box wine) doesn't always equate to "cheap." Easy access and good for the wine. Bang!!

    Love Two Buck Chuck :) And yeah, its like $3 something - it sucks they dont have a Trader Joes here, we lived there in VA.
