... over there in NC? Somedays I miss it. Today is one of those days. Anything exciting going on? Any controversy with the governor? Crazy Wake County school board in the news again? Any more snow/ice storms coming?

    It is beautiful where I am today! The sun finally came out and it is pretty warm. I  could definitely take more of this weather! It's been so dreary for the last week.

    We're being teased with spring-like weather.

    Wake county and the governor have managed to keep themselves out of the spotlight lately.  The governor's going to propose a budget soon, so that probably won't last long. 

    A bank got robbed in Cary last week. 

    When you were here where were you?  I forget.

    The Governor gives her State of the State address tomorrow night.  i think it's at 7pm.  Probably televised on public tv in NC.

    I'm in Florida--where it's much colder than it should be!!  So I won't see it!!

    So glad there's no snow in the forecast right now (although I always appreciate a surprise day off).  The western part of the state has been dealing with wildfires due to the dry conditions, however.

    SOOOO warm this week! finally! They keep throwing around ideas for the school budgets here in Guilford Co. (maybe the whole state? i feel out of the loop, i've beeing working and studying so much!) Something about buses and making elementary school kids have 15 extra minute school days. In Guilford Co., they're talking about shortening the pay period by 2 days (teachers work with no pay 2 days basically) to cut the budget by a lot. i kinda hope that one goes through though, so the older teachers will get mad and retire, and open up jobs for new graduates! :)
