Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Discussions

Ceremony Music for a rock and roll wedding

So my fiance and I are having a rock and roll themed wedding. The wedding party is walking down the aisle to U2's Beautiful Day and I'm entering with my dad to Metallica's Nothing else Matters...but that's where my ideas end I need suggestions for appropriate rock songs to play during our sand ceremony and while we sign the liscence etc, as well as the recessional and anywhere else I may have missed that might need music

Any help would be greatly appriciated

"Beautiful Day" is going to be our recessional. Love it! What's your first dance going to be?

You could use Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" for the recessional.
The only thing I'm thinking for the marriage license is "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" but that's not really rock. Peter Frampton did a cover of it, but I couldn't find a good example of it online, so I don't know what it sounds like.
Maybe Led Zeppelin's "Thank You" for the sand ceremony, but I would fade in/out of it and not use the whole song. It gets awkward just standing there listening to the whole thing when you're done pouring the sand.

Try Vitamin String Quartet.  They have an album called Rock and Roll Wedding.
