    down 1 lb. Which is ok with me since I only got to the gym twice last week, then I ate like crap over the weekend! My weekday eating is never bad, it is the weekends that kill me!

    I faced the music at WW this weekend and was up 2 pounds.  However, that was over a time period of 3 weeks and it was after a BIG dinner and lots of wine the night before.  So its okay.

    I'm back on track with workouts and have been diligent about tracking my ww points.  I am already starting to feel a difference.  I feel less bloated and my pants aren't quite as tight. I'm hoping to see a loss at my next meeting!

    I weighed in at WW Saturday and I was up since the week before Christmas.  I expected this though. 

    I've been tracking everything I'm eating so hopefully this week I will have a lose.  I've been good about going to the gym on a regular basis lately.  I need to start running more being that I have a 5K four weeks from Saturday.

    i went to the gym yesterday as well as today!   ive been eating pretty well, minus the many handfulls of goldfish i ate before dinner last night =(  no weight loss yet, but at least i am not gaining.

    ETA: i have also begun calorie counting.  i WILL stick with it this time,

    I'm here!  Spacing out...

    I've been much better with my eating habits.  Mostly because I felt like crap from all the holiday food, so I had to re-balance my body.  Plus, I don't see the point in going to the gym 5 days a week and then eat bad.

    H and I are starting our trx suspension band workout tonight.  It may kill us.  Once upon a time (20lbs lighter and in shape) I would say no problem to a challenge like this, but I'm honestly really scared.  I'm gonna be so sore tomorrow and Thursday!  If you want to know what I'm talking about (and are bored enough to watch a workout video) you can see a sample workout here (clicky).

    I've been doing well. Seeing the 2011 on my calendar really kicked me into high gear. I'm am getting to the gym atleast 4 days a week. My eating is pretty good but I'm with Nicole. Weekends are killer! I'm not too worried about it though as long as I keep getting myself to the gym.

    Going really well!  I went to WW Saturday morning, and was down 3.4!   I just need to keep up the workouts and the healthy eating.  I'm focused on bringing lots of fruits and veggies to work for snacks, and pre-packing my lunch the night before.  So far, so good.

    That's awesome Ev!  I will be at the meeting this Saturday.  I was going to come for a little on Saturday before my dentist appointment, but the line was so long.  I had to come back at 9:00 and it still took close to 30 minutes to check weigh in.

    My gym text me to ask me where I have been.  Broken foot, sad.  
    So FI told them last night and they "made a note."  I hope I get some credit or something.

    NCV- Can you put your membership on hold?  That sucks that you have to pay and you can't even use it.

    I'm like JackieBean- maintaining so far, and I started calorie counting last week - it's really worked. I've been close to 1600 everyday for the last week (minus Sunday - darn Eagles game) - but I didn't work out, so I maintained my weight. Tonight I'll be doing the eliptical and maybe lifting a smidge - depends on how long I last on the elip.

    Ev- great job!

    a.lemma - the 2011 needs to start affecting me more. Although the 5 month mark might have just kick my booty into gear.

    Hey girls! I went to my kickboxing class last night. Holy crap did it kick my ass but I felt good. I was actually counting the entire time too. The instructor wants you to count out loud because it burns more calories. I usually half ass it because it gets soo tiring but I pretty much did it the entire time, I'm happy considering it was a really hard class. 

    Weight progess sucks because I eat bad stuff but I am officially kick it into gear because I have lots of goals to work towards. My goals: my best friend's wedding and I have to order a BM dress before March, the Phillies 5k in March, my kickboxing/bootcamp instructor wants to take pictures of me for her website in March, and the TTD shoot. So I wanna get back down to my wedding weight and hopefully 5 lbs more after that.

    I'm staying on diet... which is good.  but gym?  not so much.  We went once last week... we were supposed to go 2 other times, but work got in the way.  And I don't know with the snow if we'll be able to make it this week, BUT we have the Wii Fit at home now, plus the Biggest Loser game, so hopefully if we can't get to the gym one week or one day, we'll do the Wii Fit instead. 

    Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

    Oh and I can't count calories. One it's too hard (trying to figure out how many calories for the random things like a slice of tomato, plus I don't have a food scale). Also, I always try to challenge myself to consume less and less to the point where it's unhealthy and I'm miserable and grumpy lol.

    5 month mark is when I started to really get motivated too! Now I'm almost at 4!Try envisioning yourself in your dress.     Yeah, I'm still at my 12 lbs lost since December. I'm hoping that if I bother to work out at all I'll start dropping some weight. As soon as the snow starts melting away, (yeah, i'm already blaming my lazyness on the impending snow) I'll be pulling my bike out of the shed to train for the Bike to the Bay. We have a 'bike' in the basement that is half put together, so my job this weekend is to clean up the basement from looking like a wedding/scrapbooking shop exploded and get room to do pilates, riding a bike & possibly attempting either p90x or slim in 6. Note: i said attempting. :)

    Northstar--sign up at www.livestrong.com. It's free.. and it calorie counts for you.  Plus you can keep track of your weight, your workouts... everything.  AND it has calories for restaurants already in there.  You can also make your own recipes, so you don't have to enter "1 tomato, 1 onion, 6 oz steak" every time.  You just choose that recipe.  It's brilliant.

    First time checking in on one of these threads. I started the C25K that so many of you girls reccomended. Thanks! I love it. I did the first 3 days of Week 1 so far. I really enjoy it. I cant wait until its time to run again in the program. I never thought I would enjoy running. Im nervous its because it has been too easy. If any of you did it, what speed did you run on or walk on? Ive been walking on 4 and upping it to 5-5.5 when its time to run.

    Thanks!  I know, motiviation kicked me when I hit 5 months too.

    Amy - I was looking for you and Grneyz at the meeting, but it was nuts!  I also had to wait half an hour to get weighed!  There were bunches and bunches of new people.  New Years resolution, I guess.

    I'll be at the 8am meeting next week too.

    My WW weigh in is tonight... which I hope is not cancelled due to the snow. Mainly i just want to get weighed. I really feel good about this week. I tracked every item that went into my mouth. Drank lots of water. Resisted Alcohol *MANY TIMES* and actually went to the gym 5 out of the 7 days!! The first two days I just ran as far as I felt I could which turned out to be 2 miles at a 6 on the treadmill... then on Thursday I started C25K.... I completed the third day of week 1 on Sunday... I am starting Week 2 tonight...

    I am really anxious for tonight... I hope the snow holds off until 6:30.. I just want to get weighed.. no meeting is needed!

    I am down 1 lb since my official "start weight" .. I have also gotten back on track with going to the gym.  I went 3 times last week, and so far this week went yesterday and plan to go again a few more times.   I track my calories online too and have been allowing 1500 a day.

    A friend and I have been doing spin classes, which KICK OUR BUTT.   Last night we were drenched in sweat.  It was great.  I wore my heart monitor and burned 510 calories in the hour class.  :)

    Ben and I have also been cooking a lot, and LOVE our new book "cook this, not that" .. the recipes are fantastic - taste just like the restaurant food they are trying to duplicate but way less calories.  

    I am also reading a book called "Why we are fat" which is by the author of "good calories, bad calories" .. it's very scientific/insightful about calorie choices affecting weight loss.

    Ooodsie--where do you do spinning? One of my friends does a class somewhere around Media/Lansdowne.  One of the Ys around here has a class, but i'm slightly terrified of it!
