We just had a groomsman bail. He's graduating from flight school from the Air Force that day. I wonder how many other people have had a member of each side of the bridal party bail in one week. That's gotta be some kind of record :-P

That sucks!!! but it has to be some sort of record!! and if you are ocd atleast it will be even numbers now right?? Hope the rest of the planning and bridal party comes together!!

Haha, I guess there's still a likelihood that another groomsman might have to bail if he gets picked up as an airline pilot. FI is kinda bummed that his friend won't be there at all but at least my bridesmaid is still planning on coming as a guest.

Go figure, we just ordered the engraved groomsmen flasks last week :-P I think FI just plans on keeping it for himself, which is funny since the initials on it are B.D. and FI's is D.B.C. I told him hopefully the store makes a mistake and flips the initials, lol. Silly, I know, but we're trying to find the humor in a sad/disappointing situation.

I guess it's also sort of good since we'll save about $50 on flowers for the two of them and FI's parents will have 5 fewer people on the rehearsal dinner guest list so there's less expense there, too. Every little bit helps right now but I know we'd gladly forgo the expense in favor of hanging out with two of our best friends.
