Spray Tans & Waxing

Ok ladies, I have never gotten a spray tan before, so I am not really familiar with them. However, I'm doing the boudoir photos with Lisa Rice on April 9th, and I look like a ghost!! Ok, not really, but paler than usual since the sun has been hiding.

So, suggestions on places to get a spray tan? Approximately how much will it cost? And, how many days in advance should I get it?

Same with waxing, suggestions and how many days in advance?

    I did boudoir photos last summer and had a spray tan with Angie at Skin Abstracts in Powell. She did an excellent job. If I remember correctly, it was around $60/$65. After you get the spray tan you can't shower for 24 hours. I did mine on a Thursday, then had the photos on a Saturday. 

    For waxing I go to Amy at Kenneths at Polaris and have for years. I actually did the bikini wax the same day I got the spray tan (the waxing first of course), but it would have been fine to do a couple days earlier since it lasts so long. I believe a bikini wax with Amy starts around the mid-$50's.

    I am doing waxing and I've done it before.  I always go to Charles Penzone.  I suggest you give it a week at the very least.  I usually go somewhere between 7 to 10 days before my events or trips.  The pricing all depends on what you want waxed. I suggest a reputable salon for your first time waxing.  Most (i.e. Penzone) use hypoallergenic materials and take a lot of precautions to prevent you from breaking out.

    I just layed out in the sun before my wedding, so that was my tan.

    As far as waxing goes, I did get waxed down there for the wedding and HM. I went to Kenneth's in Hilliard/Mill Run area. I can't remember the lady's name, but she was great.

    I have used Tan Envy before I went to Hawaii last year....I believe I went to a lady named Tracy in Worthington. Check their website. She made me feel very comfortable and if I remember correctly it was around $25?

    I loved it b/c I am not one who likes to be out in the sun too much! Hope that helps!
