I am so stressed. I am ready to call the wedding off. Me and fi have been getting into it so much lately. He totalled his truck 2 wks ago. His parents keep trying to make him get a truck "they want" that he doesn't have the extra for a payment THAT HIGH. We STILL haven't got a house. FMIL is being a sneaky 2facedB going behind my back to our caterer trying to change my wedding cakes. We really got into it tonight and I'm ready to call everything off and be done with it! I'm so upset that I'm sick.

    Oh Anna, my heart goes out to you! It looks like so many experience so much stress just do to the wedding as the months of counting down move in to just days ... I hope you and FI can quietly sit down and confirm you are truly on the same page. The page in the book you are choosing to write together ... No one else. I hope he can manage (or ignore) his family. As trying as the wedding planning can be - it celebrates a day. The representation of the rest of your life is much weightier. I hope you and FI can set the day frustration aside to concentrate on the lifetime. Hang in there!

    Hang in there!!!  Can you, FI, and FMIL sit down and try to work it out?  

    As far as the caterer goes, call them up and tell them that you want to put a password on your contract, so that nothing can be changed without that password.  Then if your FMIL tries again, she'll be denied.

    Hang in there, we only have a little over a month to go!!  You just have to think how happy you willl be on that day!

    I'm right there with you on the stress level.  FI was in an accident as well, 2 weeks ago.  They did not total the our SUV and they should have.  There is just under $9,000 in damage and the car is only worth $10k on a good day!  While I thank God he was not hurt, because if it happened another 100 feet or so, there is no guardrail and he would have flipped and went down a hill.  We weren't factoring in the $1000 deductible for repairs.  The body shop called Monday and now said the car won't be done until the end of the month.

    I've had a few last minute add-ons to the guest list, and at a $100 a head is adding up quickly.  My daughter needs dental work done (she's 20) and doesn't have dental insurance and last but not least...my own mother is talking smack about me to everyone that will listen.  Mostly about the wedding, but other crap as well.

    So, long story longer, hehehe, I feel your pain!!!  In the end, I will have married my best friend and we will enjoy a beautiful honeymoon!!!
