I am so torn between 2 possibly 3 venues for my reception! We love the William Penn Inn and the Spring Mill Country Club. We are checking out La Luna tomorrow from a reccommendation. I just dont know how to pick! Was anyone else stuck on deciding? What helped you make your decison?!

    i felt that at first maybe i shoudl continue to look because the first venue i saw i fell in love with. i would say go with what u love that fits the budget as well and make sure u get the most bang for your buck

    I just got married 4 months ago at the SMCC,. LOVED it. I have been to weddings at William Penn Inn, not as good at all. If I was to pick between the two I would pick SMCC.  And all my guests were shocked at how much food there was in cocktail hour and how good the food was there.  Hope that helps

    Where are you having the ceremony? If you plan on having them at the same place, I would pick SMCC because they do everything in one room at WPI (ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception). Some people don't mind that- I just prefer not to have them do a change over with guests in the room.. just something to think about if you are planning to have the ceremony held there.

    That said, I have been to receptions at both and think you are in good hands at both locations! Each have something great to offer.

    I'm gonna tell you right now, La Luna is not going to live up to WIlliam Penn Inn or the Spring Mill CC, hahah.  

    As far as your original question, as soon as we walked into Normandy Farm, we just "knew".  It was exactly what we wanted.  If you are stuck on a decisions (as long as price/location is not an issue between the two) just close your eyes and think of what your wedding looks like.  Now which space are you in?  That's the one you should pick.

    Thanks everyone! We ended up choosing the Spring Mill Country Club. We went back there a second time to look, when it was set up for a wedding and once we went back... we knew we found it! I am so releaved now!

    Good choice!  I went to B2B wedding in March and it was gorgeous.  You HAVE to get the potato bar for cocktail hour.  OMG so amazing.
