So i figured i'd update ya'll on FI's surgery situation. His surgery was the result of a car accident from about 4.5 years ago. it was (i believe) #13 or 14 since the accident. So we went to his pain specialist appointment on Monday where we found out he will have to have a surgery near the end of summer/early fall to correct nerve damage. Then went to his post op appointment on Tuesday, where we found out that he will have removal of pins and screws on April 20th. Finding out about the surgeries was a big shocker because we thought this surgery would have been the last for many, many years. We knew the pins would have to be removed but thought the Dr would do it in the office (as he talked about before).
So.... looks like lots of recovery time (still) for FI. It's heart breaking to know that all this was caused because a lady fell asleep driving.... :-/
