Happy Dance!!!

So I posted on the 29th that my MOH was stepping down http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-club-boards_august-2012-weddings_moh-stepped-down-thanks-listening and how bummed I was, and these last two weeks I have just been at a loss, because of how much I wanted her to stand up with us.

She texted me asking if she could at least be a bridesmaid, and I explained to her that if its planning and helping out that she is worried about, I said she doesn't have to do a thing, but to show up and stand next to me on this very important day, but i would still like to call her my MOH, and she said she was excited for the wedding!!

    That's great news! I'm glad everything worked out. I couldn't imagine how I would be if my bestfriend was not standing beside me on my special day

    Awe that's lovely. You're so right. We don't need to expect anything more than these women to stand up next to us and calm our wedding jitters!

    Thanks ladies!! She is coming around to her old self again, we went to dinner last night and it was AWESOME!!!!

    Yay!  I'm so glad for you, and glad she's willing to do it.  It's awesome that you didn't let it become a bigger issue than it needed to be, and you were able to let her know that SHE is important to you, not a party planner for a bachelorette & shower!
