cost of flowers

About how much was it for your flowers for your wedding? I'm just trying to get ideas about how much other people have spent.

To get a better idea you should post this on your local because prices will vary by region.

I was married in Central Florida in the spring.  All of my flowers were in season.  I spent a little over $1200 for:
    1 bridal bouquet
    4 BM bouquet
    3 mother corsages
    7 boutonniere
    1 gazebo garland with flowers
1 large hor d'ourves table arrangement
    2 large buffet arrangements
    2 small bar arrangements
    10 medium size centerpieces
    1 toss bouquet
    flowers for the cake

This included renting of the vases, delivery, setup, and pickup of the vases.

We did DIY and they were less than $400. We bought roses, carnations, and gyp from Sams Club and made: 5 bouquets, 14 bouts, and 14 centerpieces.
