Introducing myself

Hi!  I am new here!  I am Sarah.  I just got engaged December 23 and am getting married April 3.  I have hit the ground with my feet running.  We are going to have to relocate to some undetermined location this summer and wanted to get married before then.  Neither of us are from Delaware originally, but we are central to both of our families.  I just could not imagine trying to plan a wedding while moving or shortly after moving. 

I can't wait to get to know you all.

    Welcome and Congrats on your engagement.  Sounds like you're gonna need some help planning this thing in only 4 mos!!! So where are you originally from?

    Yay!  Congrats on your engagement!!  How did he propose?

    SO happy to have you here on the board; I am totally biased, but these girls really are the best of the boards, IMO (in my opinion).  They are welcoming, friendly, helpful and honest about whatever you need help with.  I have become good friends with quite a few of the DE Knotties, and now could not imagine my life without them!

    Wow, 4 months!  You can do it Smile.  What do you have done so far, and is there anything else that you need help with?

    Can't wait to see you posting, hear your stories, and see pics of everything from the special day!

    Congratulations! I am new to the board myself and these girls have already helped me out! They're great!! Good luck with planning, I'm stressing about getting everything ready in a year and a half, I couldn't imagine 4 months!!

    </div><div>He proposed for my birthday.  He was was going to propose over the weekend of the snowstorm, but we didn't get to see each other.  He is in Baltimore doing his fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and we didn't want risk traveling in the weather.  He proposed on the 23rd, when I went down there to head to my parents for Christmas.  He handed me this big shipping box and said it was my birthday present.  When I opened it, there was a ring box inside and he asked me to marry him.</div><div>
    </div><div>Oh and I don't have 4 months, only 3.  It was 3 months from yesterday.  We are getting married April 3.  so far we have a place for the reception, a dress and a photographer.  This week I need to see about florists.</div>

    </div><div>The Steelers were pretty pathetic this year.  We are planning on having the reception at Domaine Hudson in Wilmington.  There are only 10 of us, so their back room is just perfect.  It has a table that seats 12.  My sister's fiance is  probably going to be marrying us.  Where we are getting married, we aren't sure.  We are thinking outside, but need a back up plan.</div>
