MOH Backed Out!

I asked a close friend to be my MOH over a year ago, and she was thrilled and honored. Recently, since I hadn't heard from her, I asked what was going on, and she told me that since nursing school would be keeping her so busy, that she couldn't be my MOH anymore. We're not having a WP; we had planned on just MOH/BM, but since this happened, and FI & his brother/BM have not been on speaking terms recently, we are considering having none at all. I guess it's just a bummer because it's so last minute. I was really looking forward to the pre-wedding stuff, especially since the wedding is 100 miles away. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for with this post, but am wondering what you gals think or would do in this situation. Thanks!
