Is anyone doing a unity sand ceremony

I orginally was going to do a unity candle but then I read about the sand ceremony and i thought it was nicer. Just wondering if anyone was doing it and at what point in the ceremony do you do it.

    We did the unity sand and it was done before the vows.

    I'm doing unity sand but I'm just putting it in where I would put in a unity candle ceremony....Have you found wording of some sort that go with the sand ceremony? I wanted to include my daughter as well so I just need a set that includes 3 bottles....

    We have two boys. I have one and he has one. I wanted to get four different colors of sand and have tubes with our names on them and all four of us combine our colors. I love the sand idea and think it's perfect for us. We are combining two families and I'm sure the sand will be as beautiful as the act.

    We are doing the sand ceremony after we say our vows and we exchange rings. I can't wait!
