Milwaukee-area brides: Where to get reasonably priced flowers (gladiolus)

Hi ladies, I am getting married in Delafield next month and we have a florist BUT we wanted to get about 10 gladilous stems and she's charging $10/stem....here in Oregon, I can get them at a local market for $2.50/stem so I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on where I can pick something like this (or some other long-stemmed red flower, eg. ginger) up?  Thanks in advance!

    Glads are not in season here, that it is likely why the prices are so high.

    Have you asked your florist for other suggestions of red flowers that she can get a better price for?  We used a lot of gerbera daisies for our April wedding - I know they come in red and they were about $2 a stem.
