What part of RI do you want to get married in, that's a great place to start...Providence? Newport? South County?

also...how many guests do you anticipate? that can definitely affect your options. And what kind of feel are you thinking? elegant, rustic, etc.

Roger William Botanical Garden is absolutely beautiful year round for a lush green backdrop of exotic plants and beautiful interior design. This is in Providence though. Picture of ceremony set uphttp://www.pranzi.com/images/venues/botanical.jpgI also love Blithewold mansion and garden too!

Also, an idea of budget - mansion vs. other types of venues - is helpful. I have a list of places in the $4,000 and less range that are (all but one) bring your own caterer (i.e. no country clubs, reception halls, etc.) if you're interested.

Hi Kelly - I responded with some Newport suggestions in your earlier post. You can definitely have the ceremony on-site, if you want, like Stacey did. I got married at the Village Inn in Narragansett. It over looks town beach and is lovely. Outside there's a gazebo where you can have the ceremony (we had it inside). Another option is the Towers - they just opened a beautiful courtyard but I wouldn't have more than 125 or so there. Good luck!

Kelly, It might be a better idea for you to copy and paste the answers you get into a word document (or, if you prefer) an email to yourself... The reason for this, is then YOU have total control and no one is going out of the way for it.  I realize I"m late to post, but just wanted to be helpful.  GL!
