My lifelong BFF (and my own MOH) got engaged last week. Her now fiance took her out into the woods to look at "their" tree - last year, they went out and carved their initials into it. He told her to look at the other side of the tree, and he had carved "Alison, Will you marry me?" onto it.
She called last night and asked me to be her MOH! I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I already started a page on pinterest to help give her ideas for her barn wedding. (so for those of you who follow me on pinterest - don't be alarmed by the sudden surge of super rustic and county pins I am pinning. I didn't suddenly change the "theme of my wedding" - it's for my MOH! haha).
Her wedding is going to be October 20th - SO SOON - makes my 9 month engagement look like an eternity! I am so excited to start helping her plan (but probably not until I get back from my honeymoon). Except she is going to have us order our bridesmaids dresses within the next week or two since we are about at the 4 month mark - crazy!! She is letting us pick our own styles and she wants ideas that I find, so if anyone knows of any reasonably priced green bridesmaids dresses that you think are pretty, please let me know!
