In need of some e-hugs XP

I'm having a hard day.

I spoke with my mom on the phone earlier. My mom's mom in WA is having more and more memory issues. It is really hard on my mom, since she experienced her aunt die from Alzheimer's, and now it looks like her mom is going through the same thing. My dad's mom is in a nursing home in CA and being put on hospice. It is very likely that she'll die in the next few weeks, since she can't swallow and keeps aspirating on her own saliva. I feel horrible for my dad, since he lost his dad right before my wedding last year and it looks like he will lose his mom right before my sister's wedding. I feel like I'm losing both my grandmothers at the same time, and I'm struggling with missing them and my family.

Also, I strained my hand/wrist. I know it's small in comparison, but it's my dominant hand and I'm really frustrated that I can't do normal everyday things without them taking me forever or hurting. :P

Sorry if I'm whiny. I'm trying not to be.

<div>Sorry you're going through this. My grandmother, who was the woman who taught me everything from how to cook and clean to politics has Alzheimer's too. At this point she doesn't even recognize/ remember me, and its hard to reconcile to that fact that even though she's "alive", she isn't really anymore for me because the woman I knew and love so much just isn't there anymore.</div>

I know I'm a few says late, but I/m sending HUGE HUGS ur way!!!!
Ur not whining. It's a lot to deal with and it's better to talk about it than keep it in.
